Introduction
As part of our ongoing quality assurance process, we conducted a field visit to a mango farm in Egypt to assess crop conditions ahead of the export season.
The visit focused on evaluating the growing environment, crop health, and harvest readiness, ensuring that export planning begins at the farm level, not after harvest.
What We Reviewed During the Visit
During the farm inspection, our assessment covered :
•Tree health and overall field uniformity.
•Fruit development stage and size consistency.
•Irrigation practices and field management.
•Expected harvest timing for export markets.
•General compliance with export quality standards.
Why This Matters
Export-quality mangoes are not selected at the packing station, they are planned in the field.
Early farm visits allow us to :
•Reduce export and quality risks.
•Align harvest timing with market requirements.
•Ensure consistency before packing and shipping.
•Build reliable supply chains for international buyers.
This approach reflects our commitment to responsible sourcing and long-term partnerships.
